Beup Live If your copy of Beup Live v.03, the homebrew app by kevinc and HtheB that runs an MSN-like instant messaging application for the DS, seems to have stopped working, it's not your DS. According to kevinc Microsoft changed its server and as a result Beup Live v0.3 hangs at "doing handshake" part. Well, the much awaited bug fix to Beup Live v.03 is here. So this should take takes care of that issue.
Meanwhile if you're new to Beup Live it is, as we said earlier is an instant messenger. Since its first version the app has gone through a lot of great changes including:
* Selectable avatars
* Shows date of last message
* Emoticons on display names / text
* Option to auto connect
* Stand by when lid is closed
* Scrollable text in chat tabs
To run Beup Live place the files in the root directory of your card (it supports SD, Mini SD, and CF). It will have some default icons and avatars. Don't forget to watch the demo video for more info.
