  OpenAlpha episode 8

Some people might not have heard of OpenAlpha, as i didn't even know it existed until today. OpenAlpha is a vidcast about video games, gadgets, and technology in general.

In this episode, the 8th in the series, features Jenn, the vidcast reporter, as she discusses the PSP, including Logitech's PlayGear Pocket PSP case, Lua player, and PSPGolf. This vidcast follows the same sort of format as the PSPHacking101 podcasts, but with the added feature of Jenn, the ever-informative reporter. Useful if you want to convert it to PSP format and catch up on some PSP news on the move!

iTunes RSS Server for Mac OSX (Requires recent PERL and CPAN modules to install) Here's an interesting little program that Albert emailed us about earlier today. One of the best selling points of 2.60 Firmware is the ability to stream RSS feeds to your PSP via your WiFi connection
WebnabWebnab
Webnab  Danzel, from our forums, has released a new homebrew program with, probably, the craziest name we have seen yet. Webnab v0.1 ( Why Eat Bananas, Not A Browser) is a program that allows you to read front page news from a limited number of news type sites. Currently it supports PSPUpdates.qj.net (Parses front page), Slashdot (rss feed), and apple (rss feed)

pspRSS  pspRSS v0.61b The new version allows you to enter in your own list of RSS feeds, download them all, and save them to a text file. It also allows you to choose how many enclosures to download, and whether or not you want to download them with the feeds. To set up the program: 1
PReSSPReSS
PReSS Bring your RSS feeds with you wherever you go with homebrew developer The Underminer's PReSS version 0.3. Improving on its previous build, PReSS now offers support for Sony PlayStation Portable Slim users. Not only that, you can also download and play mp3 and mp4 files too. Coder The Underminer is already planning speed-up revisions for Version 1.0
PReSSPReSS
PReSS The Underminer is back and he brings along with him the latest version of his homebrew PReSS, bumping it up to v0.31. For this installation, he's added some more tweaks to the project, changing the button configuration and adding the most requested feature that is the capability to add your own feeds
PReSSPReSS
PReSS A new version is out for PReSS from The Underminer. For those of you who missed out on the initial release of the application, PReSS is a homebrew program that allows users to download and read RSS feeds. PReSS is now on its second release. Version 0.2 has a lot of new features, but please note that the first version of PReSS isn't compatible with the new build
PReSSPReSS
PReSS  PlayStation Portable homebrew developer The Underminer gave us a heads up for a new release, called PReSS. It stands for Portable RSS and it was inspired by Sony's RSS Channel feature that first appeared back in firmware 2.60
