A new version is out for PReSS from The Underminer. For those of you who missed out on the initial release of the application, PReSS is a homebrew program that allows users to download and read RSS feeds.
PReSS is now on its second release. Version 0.2 has a lot of new features, but please note that the first version of PReSS isn't compatible with the new build. Before you install version 0.2, please delete the PReSS data and PReSS folders from your unit.
Here is the changelog for PReSS version 0.2:
* Image full screen - Handy for comics or another way of browsing topics
* Added Newly Added category under catalogue
* Add links to browser bookmarks
* Auto-update
* Font size
* Hide feed view
* Feed update combo
* Next unread combo
* Faster saving/loading feeds
* Fixed leftmost pixel column bug: the leftmost column is simply not blitted anymore, which would display improperly sometimes
* Added activity indicator for feed download: if it doesn't move for 5 seconds; it never will
* Parallel feed downloading cuts waiting time
* Improved unreadable character replacement
Users are advised to check out the readme for known installation and troubleshooting procedures, as well as known bugs in the program.
