End of the Shadows source code update Although Octobinz had previously promised that he'd release the latest demo of End of the Shadows soon, what we get today is actually a quick update on the source code.

To the homebrew devs out there that plan to do some microscopic observations on his work in progress, Octobinz says that he's updated this using an SVN version. He's made a couple of bug fixes also, so that things are a little bit clearer now. As to what specifically, he didn't mention any more details. He does leave us with a small note though (aside from a picture of Ralph Wiggum picking his nose): "if game_engine->player is null, you cannot use it." Umm, right. Thank you, Captain Obvious.

About the source code, he comments that, despite being told by a friend that he should take care of it, it's General Public License (GPL). And that's that. So, enjoy, why don't you? When it comes to homebrew development, we need all the support and positive attitude that we can get.

3D Game Development Set There hasn't been a better time to develop games for the PSP. We've had a couple of gaming engines already (LTE, Raptor3D), and now, SG57 and saulotmalo from our forums have released a library which can aid game developers in a big way

Cal3d Demo for PSP Ginka has released his Cal3d Demo for PSP. This is a PSP port of the Cal3d, a skeletal based 3D character animation library written in C++ in a platform/graphic API-independent way. Ginka has made it possible to view the 3D models on the PSP. Currently he only tested this on a 1.50 PSP, and it worked fine. 2

PIXELMANPIXELMAN
From Sylus101:Sprite Designing/Testing/Creating/Animating On the GO!Just so it's clear and the purpose of the app isn't in question (as I think it might be) this is intended to be a developers helper in designing/modifying sprites, particularly for use with PALib, but since there is a binary export now I'm gathering they could be used with any dev platform (not like there are many others
