Resident PSP homebrew coder pspballer07 passed by the QJ.Net Forum earlier to announce the release of a new developer's tool the coders here may fancy. It's the PSP C++ IDE v0.8 homebrew application, a PC-based Development Environment designed to help make coding in C++ easier. This application uses -MANIAC-'s Syntax Highlighter DLL for its syntax, and comes with these features:
Syntax Highlighting
Save and Open Projects for easier management
Projects can have C files, Makefiles, export files(for prx)
Create Empty Projects or files, or use the "Template Feature" so you can start with a pre-written file
The template feature currently includes:
1.Standard Template
2.Kernel App Template
3.PRX template (for VSH PRX's)
4.More to come
Help menu
Easy to work with interface
Make sure the view the bundle's README for more of the author's notes. That, and make sure to visit pspballer07's thread over at the QJ.Net Forum for more discussions on this application. You will need to have .NET framework installed to get this application running. Downloads for .NEt and PSP C++ IDE v0.8 are available below. We hope you enjoy this application, even as we wait up for word on the other C++ Development Studio under works.

Homebrew development is getting easier for newbies to get in; and I really mean it. At first, there wasn't even a toolchain to integrate everything. Then came the toolchain and it pretty much revolutionised homebrew development. This was the case with homebrew games.
Until about a month ago, there wasn't any easy way to make really good games
