WarlorDS source code B2 has released Nintendo DS homebrew developer Lobo's source code for his strategy game WarlorDS. This code is free to use for anyone who wishes to do so as long as they give credit to the developer.

This release had b2 cleaning up classes with a few unit merges thrown in for good measure. Note that there were a few problems that cropped up with compiling the code so the FSM part might be a bit problematic. If you plan on modifying the code, most of the gamecode can be found in the gamevar class particularly the Update() function.

Those who do decide to make any changes, you can e-mail the source file to b2 and who will try to incorporate the improvements in the current codebase. It was even mentioned that an svn server might be set-up if enough people decide to contribute to this.

TabBedTabBed
TabBed The NeoFlash Spring Coding Competition is still heating up, and we've got three more homebrew entries to fill that flashcart of yours. Nope, no games here, just very useful (and very nifty) applications that you might want a look into if you're the sort to try your hand at coding games, watch movies on your DS, or play the guitar. First up is Wee Basic, version 0.4

Here's what Alatnet has to say about how this update came about: After a while of working on my Ultimate Battle MMO game, I came to a small snag..
