Maelstrom Alpha2 - Take a trip around the galaxy in the latest build of homebrew developer MadMax11's Maelstrom Alpha2 for the PlayStation Portable. The latest release of this space-faring RPG marks itself as the second alpha release and includes a lot of interesting new features.
The game still doesn't have much in the way of content, but with the way things are going, Maelstrom looks like a promising homebrew game once its final build is complete. Anyway, here's a list of the new improvements added since the previous release:
- Finished jumping sequence
- Added "Sam" system & planet
- Added 7 new ships
- Added new font (04b_03)
- Added new ship upgrade
- Touched up ship images
- Made it so that ship can only land on planet if velocity is very low and ship is right above it
The developer is currently looking for additional feedback to help improve the game. If you feel like dropping MadMax11 a line, you can visit his thread on the QJ.NET PSP Development forum.
