We gotta admit - Red_Squirrel keen on making sure that the M33xEver app stays updated.
The developer dropped by the QJ.NET Forums earlier to announce version 2 of this plugin is now available for the community's perusal.
Here's a recap in case you weren't around earlier: Dark AleX had previously added a special "birthday surprise" easter egg to his CFWs, set to go off on April 2. On the appointed day, the surprise changes all the system information on your handheld to a 3.
The birthday surprise only activates on April 2, however, which is where M33xEver comes in. It allows you permanently keep the birthday surprise, with version 2 now allowing you to keep your current date and calendar settings.
Instructions on how to install this application are available in the file bundle's readme. Those interested in providing their feedback will want to visit Red_Squirrel's release thread over in the QJ.NET PSP Development Forums.
