libnds 20071023 Developer devkitPro is sending out word that the latest build for devkitARM is now available for download. For those asking, DevkitARM is a toolchain for programming homebrew software for Nintendo DS and Game Boy Advance. There are two versions available for use: One for Windows, and one for Linux OS. Here are the latest changes for devkitARM since version 19b:
* Upgraded to gcc 4.1.2
* Added gdb by popular request
* Now including libraries for ARM big-endian devices - this relates to a request from the winARM maintainers, not DS related.
* Newlib patches extended to allow time() to work on the DS
* argv has been added - this will require support from the homebrew launcher menu on various cards
* ndstool now uses the default arm7 core distributed with libnds in preference to an embedded one
* Now working on Vista/Vista64 - users who were impatient and modified paths should now remove those changes
Keep note that devkitARM will require libnds 20071023 to run properly. libnds 20071023 carries these latest changes:
* some freeBSD fixes to makefiles
* added RTC setup and sound initialisation to arm7 core
* corrected glViewport for openGL consistency ( old spelling was glViewPort) , correct angle for gluPerspective and corrected glFrustum matrix
* IRQ nesting now works properly
* other more general fixes detailed in the changelog on SF
* DS examples updated for latest libnds
Downloads for both software will be provided for here, although we strongly advise readers to visit the devkitPro website for further information regarding this developer's tool.

This version has had a significant version bump because it is considered complete. I'm holding off from releasing version 1.0 partly to ensure that the documentation is done and partly to allow time for any bug reports
VGM-DS VGM-DS A week after v0.90 was released, Globoeil has followed it up and now patched it up to VGM-DS v0.90 Rev1 (Revision1). There's been quite a big bunch of crucial bug fixes that he's incorporated into the release. If you're familiar with RPGMaker (2000), you'd know how much simple bug fixes can go a long way

MS/G6 Official FatLibs MS/G6 Official FatLibs Let's play a little game of jeopardy. Ready?
This has been released by the M3/G6 Team recently. According to vavrious sources, this will enable all DS homebrew authors to have access to M3's/G6's filesystem. It comes with a sort of a FAT32 filesystem tutorial, as well as a "customized version" of MoonShell
Woopsi Woopsi from ant512:
There are quite a few under-the-hood changes this time around. First of all, Quirky (of Bunjalloo fame) supplied patches for half a dozen crashes, which are all now fixed. There are a number of other miscellanous bugfixes in there too

Woopsi Woopsi from ant512:
This release is the first alpha version. At this point I'm mainly concerned with bugfixing and tidying up than adding significant new features.
Big changes this time around include the removal of PALib support and a directory restructure. This is the first release of Woopsi that ships as a proper library
