We've got some saddening news for the homebrew scene today. Thanks to a tip from Unkown, we just received word that Knight Legend, the developer of the homebrew game World of Chaos, has quit development on World of Chaos and is releasing the game's source code to the public.
Knight Legend is apparently leaving the coding scene for various reasons, and may also take down his forums depending on the number of members on his site. As he writes on one forum post,
I said I quit the homebrew scene. I never said anything about leaving this site.
By homebrew scene, I mean coding.
I would never leave this site, unless I cancel it. I would only do that because of the small amount of members we have. If we get more, I just may change my mind.
In the meantime, he has left the source code for people to work on if they felt like it. Hopefully, someone will be able to continue the work he started, or perhaps learn something from the source code he's put up for download.
