QJ.NET PSP Development forum was just visited by homebrew coder becus25 and released a new build for his custom firmware bringing it up to 3.02 IE-A Update2. Much like Update1, this particular one still gives users the capability to have "on one nand the improvements of firmware 3.xx, the OE kernel and the IE"
PSP FW 3.50 downgrader (from Noobz team)
And the homebrew greats have done it again: Noobz team and 0okm in conjunction with HellDrive released two separate PSP FW 3.50 downgraders using the Japanese version of the video game Lumines. While the Noobz team has promised before to come up with this one, we didn't know that 0okm was working on it as well
3.40 IE
Homebrew developer becus25 just came up with a new build for his custom firmware bringing it up to version 3.40 IE. This project has really come along way and if we may add, there's a high possibility that the future of the homebrew scene lies on it since we all know what happened to DAX.

We're sure you've been waiting for homebrew developer xart's update on Choice, and today, you're in luck. Xart has just released Choice Beta 1.1 and easyChoice version 1.5.
Choice is a GUI (graphical user interface) for custom firmware and is recommended for use on 3.51 M33

Space for Everything
Pirata Nervo has released a nifty new application for you folks to try that could end up giving you even more free space on your PSP. It's called Space for Everything v1.6, and it essentially allows users to free up space on their PSP by removing seemingly unnecessary features, such as foreign language fonts and the like.

Version Flasher
Homebrew developer download has come out with Version Flasher 1.7. According to him, this program spoofs your current firmware by flashing the index.dat and version.txt files from a later firmware update.
In a nut shell, this should ensure better compatibility when running newer games and demos which require the more recent firmware
