Dark Karnage Shell
Homer and Lil13lazin have released the first beta of their DarkKarnage Shell for the PSP. They have only been working on this for 18 hours straight, so do not expect too much from it just yet. This Shell looks really nice, and the great thing is that this Shell is compatible with all firmwares except 2.7
Devious
Devious is a project in the beta stage from Kevin and Tarek (over at Deviant PSP). Feedback from a lot of users is that this baby will be better than IR Shell if the improvements keep on coming

If you're an retrogamer, then you'll probably be interested that homebrew developer CrazyC has come out with an update for DOSBox v0.7.1. This application should theoretically allow you to play old DOS games on your PSP.
We say theoretically, since the developer tried to run SimCity 2000 and Tie Fighter on his handheld
